THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COUNTY KILDARE (C F Dicken) fly jumped leaving the stalls. Lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) When racing with cover, COUNTY KILDARE (C F Dicken) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) Approaching the 300m WHEN EVENING COMES (M Yeni) was carried out by STOLEN STAR (S Veale) which was switched out and then rolled out off the heels of SECRET WINX (K Matsunyane) which had come to the end of its run. As a result, ONE SMART COOKIE (*R A Venniker) was carried out marginally by WHEN EVENING COMES (M Yeni). c) Jockey K Matsunyane reported that he felt something amiss in the running with SECRET WINX (K Matsunyane). The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) CUE THE REBEL (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable employee S Mtwesi acting on behalf of Trainer S G Tarry advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) DRESSEDTOTHENINES raced equipped with blinkers (advised 19.09.2023/11h22).
