b)	HUMBLE TUNE (R Khathi) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Jockey D Schwarz, after being dislodged in the pull-up area in Race 7, was examined by the course Medical 	Officer and passed fit to continue riding.
b)	ARTURO (JP van der Merwe) over raced in the early and middle stages.
c) 	KUZNETSOV (D Schwarz) was held up for a clear run between the 500m and the 300m.
d)	SIRNIHAALLONGSWORD (C Zackey), which was hanging out from the 400m, shifted out between the 300m 	and the finish.
e)	Jockeys Y Ramzan and M Yeni, the riders of CAPTAIN TIK TOK and FIERY DUKE respectively, reported that 	they felt something amiss with these geldings. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
f)	Jockey S Naidoo reported that DAMMI took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to 	examine this colt.
g)	GUNSMOKE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee G 	Venter, acting on behalf of Trainer TJ Laing, was advised. (LM)
