THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 300m TRIPLE TIME (G van Niekerk) was directed outwards when unable to secure clear running on the inside of THE FUTURIST (K Matsunyane). b) LOVE IS A ROSE (C Zackey) was hanging out throughout. c) Jockeys C Orffer and JP van der Merwe, the riders of MASTER REDOUTE and SOMERSET MAUGHAM respectively, reported that these geldings took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) SENSO UNICO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer VH Marshall was advised.
