THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DYCE (K Matsunyane) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) INFINITE WONDER (N Klink) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly before the finish line, INFINITE WONDER (N Klink) was steadied momentarily and directed outwards to avoid the heels of PAISLEY PARK (P Mxoli), which rolled in marginally. b) DYCE (K Matsunyane) hung in from the 400m. c) DYCE (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Houdalakis advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) TEAM GOLD was ridden by Apprentice R A Venniker (declared 26 September 2023 at 14H38), who did not claim her apprentice allowance and weighed out at 53,8kg, 1,5kg over the carded weight of which 0,5kg was declared. b) BARD OF AVON: Jockey M Yeni weighed out at 50,7kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight as declared. c) BON VIVANT: Jockey D De Gouveia weighed out at 53,4kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
