THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STORM COMMANDER (K Matsunyane) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After being dislodged in Race 3, Jockey S Naidoo was examined by the course Medical Officer and passed fit to continue riding for the remainder of the race meeting. b) The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. c) CALLMEMRGREENLIGHT (L Nhlapo) pulled hard in the early and middle stages and raced very wide on the first turn. Thereafter, CALLMEMRGREENLIGHT (L Nhlapo) was allowed to race to the front of the field. d) CLIMATE CONTROL (R Fourie) was hanging in in the straight. e) Jockey R Fourie (CLIMATE CONTROL) briefly dropped his right-side rein at the 100m. f) EUPHORIC, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer JVA Strydom was advised.
