THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	JAQUAR CAT (J Gates) was stubborn loading and thereafter jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Entering the turn at the 800m WAR LAUNCH (L Mxothwa) rolled out and had to be steadied momentarily when 	close to the heels of ON THE ROAD AGAIN (R Fourie).
b)	Leaving the 100m HAT'S PRIDE (R Danielson) and TIMBAVATI RIVER (C Maujean) made contact when both 	horses shifted ground.
c)	Jockey M Yeni reported that CHARLIE MALONE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon 	was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	Jockey K Minnie reported that IL LUNGO made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this horse.
e)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding JAQUAR CAT (J Gates), Trainer JVA Strydom will be advised 	to have this horse re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
f)	HAT'S PRIDE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SB Kotzen, acting 	on behalf of Trainer GS Kotzen, was advised. (LM)
