THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BYTHELITEOFTHEMOON (S Veale) and TIME IN PARIS (B Fayd'Herbe) jumped slow, losing one length. b) SANSA STARK (C Bantam) and GIRL LIKE US (J Solomons) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) GIRL LIKE US (J Solomons) raced wide on the early part of the turn. b) In view of the performance of TIME IN PARIS (B Fayd'Herbe), which raced awkwardly on the bend and was hanging out in the straight, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) At the 150m GIMMETHELIMELIGHT (G van Niekerk) shifted in away from the crop and had to be straightened. d) GIRL LIKE US, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PD Reeves was advised.
