THE STARTER REPORTED:

b)	WARMHEARTOFAFRICA (C Bantam) and FLY FUTURA (G Wright) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	This race was delayed as the ambulance which had attended to Jockey S Veale in the previous race, had to return to the start.
b)	Shortly after the start CELTIC CHIEF (C Orffer) was bumped outwards by GREENLAND (G van Niekerk), which in turn made contact with ATLANTIC KING (A Arries). As a consequence, CELTIC CHIEF (C Orffer) was slow into stride.
c) 	At the 400m CELTIC CHIEF (C Orffer) rolled out and brushed ATLANTIC KING (A Arries).
d)	At the 250m ALL ABOUT RONNIE (B Fayd'Herbe), which was held up for a clear run, was directed outwards and brushed TOUCHDOWN (O Noach).
e)	Jockey A Andrews was unable to ride INFRARED to the finish when close to the heels of SACAMBAYA (A Mgudlwa).
f)	ALL ABOUT RONNIE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AE Sands was advised. (WM)
