THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FIRE GLOW (M Yeni) was nervous in the stalls. b) KOMESHAN LOGAN (S Khumalo) and KITTY MO (R Fourie) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey X Ndlovu reported that SUNDROP took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. b) Jockey S Khumalo reported that KOMESHAN LOGAN, which finished tailed off, changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) In view of the performance of KITTY MO ( Betting 15/10; Distance), which raced wide without cover until the 1000m and failed to respond to Jockey R Fourie's urgings in the straight and was not persevered with from the 200m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) MORE FOR ME, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Mitchley was advised.
