THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	FLAG MAN (R Fourie) reared in the stalls on one occasion. 
b)	ARSENE LUPIN (C F Dicken) and SIR CEDRIC (C Habib) lost 1 length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	At approximately the 1100m SIR CEDRIC (C Habib) had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of MASTER OF THE TURF (M Yeni).
b)	At approximately the 400m JET BUND (M Thackeray) had to switch out off the heels of ARSENE LUPIN (C F Dicken) which rolled out and SIR CEDRIC (C Habib) which shifted inwards. 
c)	Jockey R Khathi (SPRING FLYER) accidentally dropped his crop in the concluding stages.
d)	Jockey M Yeni reported that MASTER OF THE TURF made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e)	In view of the performance of JET BUND (M Thackeray) (15.45 lengths, 25/2 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
f)	SPRING FLYER (R Khathi), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M D Miller advised (DZ).

a)	Jockey C Zackey was the rider of SILVER ALERT (advised 15.10.2023/08h10).
b)	BILLY OF TEA raced equipped with blinkers (advised 12.10.2023/05h50).
