THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Shortly after the start, CARE TAKER (D De Gouveia) was squeezed out between RAINING RUBIES (Wes Marwing), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls, and FULLIAUTOMATIX (N Klink), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. Thereafter, RAINING RUBIES (Wes Marwing) was steadied away from the heels of BEADED GOWN (J P van der Merwe), which was carried in by AXEL COLLINS (J Gates), which was brushed in by SAMOA (G Lerena), which jumped inwards sharply leaving the stalls.		
b)	LIFE GOES ON (*S Sosibo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
