THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) POWER BROKER (M Yeni) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls, resulting in Jockey M Yeni losing the footing to his left-side stirrup iron. Shortly thereafter, Jockey M Yeni also lost the footing to his right-side stirrup iron, both of which he managed to regain at the 900m. b) An inquiry will be opened into why POWER BROKER (M Yeni) had to check at approximately the 750m. c) RAVEN BLACK (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
