Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Approaching the 300m, and thereafter at the 150m, CAPE EAGLE (R Khathi) was carried in briefly by SEE IT AGAIN (P Strydom) which was hanging in from the 350m and rolled in. Thereafter, at the 100m CAPE EAGLE (R Khathi) was switched to the outside of SEE IT AGAIN (P Strydom) to continue its run. b) Jockey D Daniels reported that he felt something amiss in the running with AIRWAYS LAW. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) SEE IT AGAIN (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M L Roberts advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Apprentice K J Lihaba (BELLA SICCOME) weighed out at 52.5kg and claimed 1kg of his 1.5kg carded allowance. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
