THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	EGYPTIAN MAU (C Zackey) and SIGRID SWING (Wes Marwing) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	At approximately the 1000m, LET'S GO NOW (R Fourie) had to ease off the heels of PLATINA PRINCESS (K Matsunyane), which shifted in when insufficiently clear. 
Jockey	K Matsunyane was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of PLATINA PRINCESS, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to LET'S GO NOW (R Fourie) when he shifted in at approximately the 1000m. Jockey K Matsunyane signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of seven (7) days.
Suspension dates:  To be advised.    
b)	WHITE PEARL (J P van der Merwe) and BOMBER GIRL (*R A Venniker) commenced to over-race after LEAVING LAS VEGAS (C Habib) had secured the rail position from its wide draw and had cleared both of these runners. 
c)	At the 150m, WHITE PEARL (J P van der Merwe) was carried out slightly by EGYPTIAN MAU (C Zackey), which improved and commenced to hang out under pressure. 
d)	Jockey C Habib reported that LEAVING LAS VEGAS made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
e)	EGYPTIAN MAU (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED:
a)	LEAVING LAS VEGAS examined post race, nothing obvious detected.	
b)	SIGRID SWING	 unilateral right epistaxis. Confirmed on endoscopy that this was not due to EIPH (no blood in the trachea). 
c)	IVY LEAGUE coughing post race.	

SCRATCHED:
a)	MY SOUL MATE foot sore (Trainer) (Rule 53.5 applies).
