THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MEDITERANEANGODDES (R Khathi) and SUMMER ODYSSEY (R Fourie) were stubborn loading. b) KOMESANS PASSION (S Khumalo) was nervous in the stalls. c) DELICASEA (K Minnie) was nervous in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. d) BAUBLES AND BEADS (M Mjoka), LOOKING HOT (D Schwarz) and TWICE IN CAMDEN (J Gates) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of SUMMER ODYSSEY (R Fourie) (Betting 28/10; Distance 3.65 lengths) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) BAUBLES AND BEADS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L Gila was advised.
