THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BLUE HORIZON (W Marwing) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ELEGANT ACT (A Mgudlwa) was hanging out from the 300m. b) ELUSIVE BELLE (C Maujean) was hanging out from the 200m. c) Jockey R Khathi reported that TROPICAL BREEZE made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with AMBER SKY in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) The saddle on FLIGHT MANEUVER (T Godden) slipped backwards in the running. This was confirmed by the patrol films of the Race. f) Trainer P Gadsby signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1, in that he failed to ensure that the owners colours were available for the horse SEA OF TEARS. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. g) FLIGHT MANEUVER (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
