THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	SWIFT NICKS (A Mgudlwa) lost one length. 
b)	THE GREEN GALLANT (C Habib) lost two lengths. 
c)	RHUMBA STILTSKIN (R Khathi) was slow into stride. 
d)	PLAYER X (C Maujean) dropped his head shortly before the start was effected which resulted in this colt jumping out awkwardly leaving the stalls.  
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	At the 2200m, PLAYER X (C Maujean) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the heels of ONLY A POET (M Thackeray) which was carried in by TRITON (*N Nastili) which was ridden inwards from a wide draw. 
Apprentice N Nastili signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as the rider of TRITON, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to ONLY A POET (M Thackeray) and PLAYER X (C Maujean) at the 2200m. Accordingly, a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for a period of 7 days was imposed. (Suspension dates to be advised)           
b)	Entering the first turn, PLAYER X (C Maujean) commenced to hang out which resulted in TRITON (*N Nastili) being carried outwards. As a consequence, RHUMBA STILTSKIN (R Khathi) had to be steadied to avoid TRITON (*N Nastili). 
c)	In the concluding stages, ONLY A POET (M Thackeray) had to steady momentarily in anticipation of being awkwardly placed on the heels of BILLY OF TEA (T Godden) which was hanging out from the 200m. 
d)	Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with IMAGINABLE in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
e)	Jockey R Khathi reported that RHUMBA STILTSKIN continually changed stride in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.    
f)	BILLY OF TEA (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M D Miller advised (DZ).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	LADY IS A CHAMP was ridden by Apprentice K J Lihaba (claiming 4kg) (advised 10.11.23/9h33).
