THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start FULLY LOADED (S Khumalo) and SIBERIAN STEEL (C Habib) came together and bumped when awkwardly placed between PINCH HIT (*N Nastili), which jumped outwards and SUPER AGRA (*T Mayhew), which jumped inwards. b) SIBERIAN STEEL (C Habib) over raced in the early stages. c) ESQUEVELLE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
