THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SILVER CLOCK (*N Nastili) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) FASINADA (JR Syster) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) DUENNA (C Habib) stumbled leaving the stalls. d) COMING IN HOT (*T Mayhew) and FULL GO (D Schwarz) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 350m GODFATHER (G Lerena) was brushed in by DUENNA (C Habib), which rolled in marginally. b) Assistant Trainer WO Marwing was questioned with regard to the improved performance of MIDNIGHT CALLER (W Marwing) and could offer no suitable explanation for this improvement. Assistant Trainer WO Marwing's attention was drawn to Rule 62.3.1 with regards to inconsistent running. c) MIDNIGHT CALLER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer WO Marwing, acting on behalf of Trainer W Marwing, was advised.
