THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WIKKEL SPIKKEL (G Lerena) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TRACY'S PRINCESS (S Brown) raced fiercely in the early and middle stages and compounded from the 400m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) Jockey K Matsunyane, the rider of COUNTRY FLAME, accidentally dropped his crop at the 200m. c) WIKKEL SPIKKEL (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer E Verdonese advised (SM). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None.
