THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	READY TO CHARGE (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing two lengths.
b)	TENANGO (A Andrews) threw its head up leaving the stalls and, as a consequence, was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Prior to the running of this race, Jockey K Steyn submitted a medical certificate declaring him fit to ride in races.
b)	Leaving the 50m MEU CAPITANO (A Arries), which was initially brushed outwards by OUTLAW KING (C Zackey) had to be steadied when close to the heels of TENANGO (A Andrews), which shifted out slightly.
c)	Jockey O Noach reported that he felt something amiss with MOJO MAN. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
d)	FUTURE VARIETY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised. (WM)
