Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) During the loading process, BEES AND HONEY (+S Myendeki) broke through the front gate. This filly was restrained by the Work Rider, returned to the starting stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised (GT).

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) Work Rider I Lukhele reported that TO THE KING changed stride continually in running.
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to BEES AND HONEY, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion.
Suspension dates: 29 November 2023 to 5 December 2023. BEES AND HONEY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised.
c) JOHN WICK (+T Matsoele), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
