THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SIGNALS (Wes Marwing) and SO LONG SPRING (D Schwarz) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) CONSOL QUEEN (M Yeni) over-raced in the early and middle stages and drew clear of the field. Despite this, CONSOL QUEEN (M Yeni) managed to remain competitive in the finish. b) In view of the performance of GO DREAM MACHINE (*K A Brewer), (distance 10,00 lengths, betting 7/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) SO LONG SPRING (D Schwarz), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer T Zackey advised (LN). d) IDEAL WOLFF (M van Rensburg), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer H E Adamson advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
