THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GIDEON'S DAUGHTER (G Cheyne) was nervous in the stalls and jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) TIBETAN TEMPTRESS (R Fourie) was nervous in the stalls, jumped awkwardly and thereafter was slow into stride. c) HAT'S MIRACLE (D Ashby) and MISS TUCKER (R Khathi) made contact leaving the stalls. d) SUNDROP (L Mxothwa) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) KITTY MO (*B Plaatjies) shifted in away from the crop between the 300m and 200m. b) Jockey D Ashby reported that HAT'S MIRACLE felt uncomfortable in its action and he did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) GIDEON'S DAUGHTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
