THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LUCY IN THE SKY (P Mxoli) and MYTHICAL DREAM (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) SIMPLE SIMPLE (R Fourie) tired badly from the 250m. Thereafter, Jockey R Fourie reported that he felt something amiss with SIMPLE SIMPLE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer M F de Kock will be requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of SIMPLE SIMPLE on return to stables. b) ONE FELL SWOOP (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
