THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WEHAVEASITUATION (O Noach) was examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon and passed suitable to race, causing a delay. b) RESIGNED TO FATE (A Arries), PLUM PUDDING (C Orffer) and HOKAAI MY MEISIE (P Mxoli) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 200m PLUM PUDDING (C Orffer) had to check and brushed HOKAAI MY MEISIE (P Mxoli) when close to the heels of PRINCESS VIRGINIE (R Fourie), which tired quickly under pressure and rolled out. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine PRINCESS VIRGINIE (R Fourie). b) Jockey D Ashby reported that EMERALD FLOWER did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) TIBETAN VOYAGE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B Crawford was advised.
