Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	RED RACKHAM (C Habib) and LONACH (M Yeni) jumped slow, losing one length.
b)	KWITE A KING (JP van der Merwe) jumped slow, losing two lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	PROTAGONIST (A Andrews) proved difficult to settle in the early and middle stages.
b)	Leaving the 400m MISTER LINCOLN (A Arries) shifted outwards away from NOCTURNAL FLIGHT (L Mxothwa), which was brushed outwards by GREENLAND (G van Niekerk), which was held up for a clear run and shifted out. Shortly thereafter GREENLAND (G van Niekerk) was directed outwards and into clear running. Jockey G van Niekerk appeared before the Board and was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
c)	Approaching the 100m FIRINGONALLENGINES (K Matsunyane) rolled out and had to be directed inwards to avoid the heels of OZARK (A Domeyer), which shifted in slightly away from the crop. As a consequence, FRENCH TRIP (R Fourie), which was racing on the inside of FIRINGONALLENGINES (K Matsunyane), was momentarily inconvenienced. 
d)	OZARK, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PD Reeves was advised. (WM)
