THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	Fair start.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Near the 200m NEBRAAS (A Arries), SENSO UNICO (B Fayd'Herbe), TRIPLE TIME (G van Niekerk) and ROCKPOOL (R Fourie) suffered varying degrees of interference on the outside of SUGAR MOUNTAIN (G Wright), which made its run on the outside of BARATHEON (K Steyn), which had shifted outwards initially. During this incident, SENSO UNICO (B Fayd'Herbe) and TRIPLE TIME (G van Niekerk) lost their momentum and their position. Immediately following this incident, NEBRAAS (A Arries) was bumped outwards a number of times by SUGAR MOUNTAIN (G Wright), which shifted outwards. An Inquiry will be held into this incident.
b)	Shortly before the finish line PACAYA (K Matsunyane), which improved from a rearward position, was steadied when awkwardly placed between MASTER REDOUTE (A Andrews), which shifted in away from the crop and FUTURE SWING (M Yeni), which shifted out away from the crop. During this incident PACAYA (K Matsunyane) and FUTURE SWING (M Yeni) brushed and were unbalanced. 
c)	MASTER REDOUTE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WA Nel was advised. (SC)
d)	FUTURE SWING, the second-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (DD)
