THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ACTION STATIONS (*K J Lihaba) shifted out away from the crop between the 300m and the 200m. b) LAUDATO (S Hlengwa) was hanging in from the 200m. c) Jockey R Khathi reported that BAYVIEW EXPRESS did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey R Fourie reported that he felt something amiss with ATTABOY in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the performances of MASTER TOBE (C Zackey), (9.45 lengths behind and 10/1 in the betting), and LUCRETIUS (*R A Venniker), (15.55 lengths behind and 25/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) LAUDATO (S Hlengwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
