THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) PANTHERS PEARL (*K J Lihaba) over raced in the early stages. b) SHOOT THE RAPIDS (S Moodley) over raced for a short distance in the back straight. c) ONLY A POET (T Godden) was hanging out from the 150m. d) Jockey M Yeni reported that THE GREEN GALLANT took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) SHOOT THE RAPIDS (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Robinson advised (DZ).
