THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MISS GREENLIGHT (L Mxothwa) was restless in the stalls. b) LA PURA VIDA (K Steyn) jumped awkwardly inwards. c) THE CHARLESTON (G Wright) jumped awkwardly. d) ONI SAN (R Fourie) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey A Andrews reported that BODY ELECTRIC choked up in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 250m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) Jockey G Wright reported that THE CHARLESTON did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with QUEEN OF CAMELOT, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the performance of LA PURA VIDA (K Steyn), which took an awkward stride shortly after the start, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) PACIFIC GREEN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
