Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	JIVKO DRAGANOV (Wes Marwing) stood losing many lengths.  The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn.
b)	MASTER OF COIN (M Khan) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a) 	In view of the Starter's report with regard to JIVKO DRAGANOV, this gelding has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion.  Suspension dates: 16 February 2022 to 22 February 2022.  JIVKO DRAGANOV may not be presented for repassing during this period.  Trainer D C Pretorius advised (JB).
b)	BIG FIVE (D R Lerena) which commenced to over-race around the turn, took a number of awkward strides after making contact with the inside running rail approaching the 1000m.
c)	Leaving the 1000m, MAIDEN'S COVE (C Zackey) took a number of awkward strides when tightened for galloping room on the inside of MCEBISI (S Brown) which rolled inwards and was immediately straightened.
d)	PLAYER (G Lerena) hung in from the 400m to the 200m.
e)	Jockey M Khan reported that MASTER OF COIN made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.  The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
f)	KING ARTHUR (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Stable Employee J Dhlamini advised (AH).

JOCKEY CHANGES:

a)	BIG FIVE was ridden by Jockey D R Lerena (declared 15 February 2022 at 07H08).


RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER:

a)	CROSS EXAMINER raced without blinkers (declared 12 February 2022 at 13H26).
