THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WESTERN JACK (X Ndlovu) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) DESTINY'S ANGEL (S Khumalo) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. b) HUNTING GROUND (Y Ramzan), which was ridden forward in the early stages, commenced to hang out on latter part of the turn and raced very wide into the straight. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) In view of the performance of CAPTIVATE (R Fourie), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) GRADUATION TIME, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SB Kotzen was advised.
