THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GLOBAL THUNDER (L Nhlapo) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey Munger reported that the bit pulled through PREDATRICE'S mouth in running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. b) In view of the performance of PREDATRICE (R Munger), (distance 13,000 lengths, betting 10/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) The saddle on FROZEN FANTASY (K Matsunyane) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by an Official. d) FROZEN FANTASY (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer R Klaasen advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
