THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HAPPY HOLLY (*KJ Lihaba) and ALPINE DIAMOND (Y Ramzan) were stubborn loading. b) CHEF D'OEUVRE (D Schwarz) was stubborn loading and thereafter jumped slow, losing one length. c) SERENDIPITOUS (M Yeni) was nervous in the stalls. d) SPLICETHEMAINBRACE (R Fourie) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 200m HAPPY HOLLY (*KJ Lihaba), which raced green, shifted out away from the crop and had to be straightened.
