THE STARTER REPORTED: a) POTENT CAPTAIN (D Schwarz) was stubborn loading and thereafter was slow into stride. b) PONTE VECCHIO (Y Ramzan) and LORD CAPULET (R Khathi) were nervous in the stalls. c) SIGNOR VANGELO (R Danielson) was nervous in the stalls and thereafter jumped slow, losing two lengths. d) TORNADO KING (K Minnie) jumped slow, losing two lengths. e) WINNING GRACE (X Ndlovu) and SWISS WALT (L Mxothwa) were slow into stride.
