THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ONE WAY TRAFFIC (G van Niekerk) and ARAGOSTA ( R Fourie) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TRIPLE TIME (K Matsunyane) was hanging out in the straight. b) At the 50m THEFUTUREISBRIGHT (C Zackey), which had come to the end of its run, had to be steadied when tightened for galloping room between NEBRAAS (G Lerena) and ARAGOSTA (R Fourie), which was hanging out, shifted out and was immediately straightened. c) In the concluding stages ONE WAY TRAFFIC (G van Niekerk) rolled in and brushed NEBRAAS (G Lerena), which became momentarily unbalanced. d) FUTURE SWING, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (SC) e) TRIPLE TIME, the second-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised.
