THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	GOLDEN DELIGHT (M Yeni) was restless in the stalls.
b)	PORT ADELAIDE (AUS) (W Kennedy) became restless in the stalls as the start was effected. Lost 1 length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	The start of the race was reviewed by the Stipendiary Board pertaining to PORT ADELAIDE (AUS) (W Kennedy), drawn in stall gate 3. In this regard, it was established that this filly was restless as the start was effected. The Board was satisfied that PORT ADELAIDE (AUS) was not impeded by a handler and that any distance lost was due to its own behaviour. Although it had no bearing on the decision taken, the filly finished in the first 4 placings and the Board was precluded from declaring PORT ADELAIDE (AUS) (W Kennedy) to be a non-runner in any event, in terms of the Rules.
b)	At approximately the 300m, LADY YUSRA (K de Melo) and MODE (A Arries) came together and brushed on 2 occasions.
c)	Jockey D Dillon reported that he felt something amiss with HOT MONEY in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
d)	LADY YUSRA (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer N Roscoe acting on behalf of Trainer D Kannemeyer advised (NS).
