THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STATE OF MIND (R Khathi) was nervous in the stalls. b) ST CLOUD (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of MARSHMALLOW (Y Ramzan), which raced at the front of the field in the early and middle stages and tired quickly in the straight, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) Jockey S Khumalo reported that TRUMP MY QUEEN felt uncomfortable in its action and he did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. c) Jockey R Khathi reported that STATE OF MIND did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) ST CLOUD, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
