THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	MORE THAN ALL (+P Mongqawa) was restless in the stalls and thereafter slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) 	Shortly after the start, ICE CAP (+K Mayhew-Munger) was steadied when squeezed out between  LIKE A BUTTERFLY (+G Dadamasi) and FREEDOM SQUARE (+S Tshezi), which jumped inwards sharply leaving the stalls.	
b)	Work Rider T Matsoele, the rider of WAITFORGREENLIGHT, accidentally dropped his crop at the 150m.
c)	In view of the performance of MORE THAN ALL (+P Mongqawa), (distance 18,00 lengths, betting 11/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.	
d)	Work Rider T Matsoele reported that WAITFORGREENLIGHT took no interest in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	FREEDOM SQUARE (+S Tshezi), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (MS).
	
WORK RIDER CHANGES:
a)	THE NAVY LARK: Work Rider A Feni weighed out at 59,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
b)	VOLARE E MAMBO: Work Rider C Mabaya weighed out at 60,2kg, 1kg over the carded weight.
Work Rider C Mabaya was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.4 in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on VOLARE E MAMBO, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the Trainer. Work Rider C Mabaya signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in one (1) Work Rider race. 
Date of Suspension: 8 February 2024.
