THE STARTER REPORTED: a) EIFFEL TOWER (M Yeni) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) PRINCE OF KILDARE (J Gates) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. Trainers B B Ruiters to be advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, PRINCE OF KILDARE (J Gates) adopted an awkward stance and leant heavily on the left-side starting stall rail, which resulted in the Handler being marginally slow releasing this gelding. As a consequence, PRINCE OF KILDARE (J Gates) was slow away and lost one length. The Board was satisfied that this marginal loss of ground was due to horse behaviour and therefore took no further action. b) JUST NUISANCE (K A Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A G Laird advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) DUBAI HILLS was ridden by Apprentice M K Katjedi (declared 18 January 2024 at 08H31). b) KAKIEBOS: Jockey C Zackey weighed out at 54,7kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. c) LONGSWORD: Jockey C Habib weighed out at 53,9kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
