THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	GUERRA (R Fourie) was nervous in the stalls.
b) 	GLOBAL BANKER (*KJ Lihaba) jumped outwards.
c)	ELUSIVE JUSTICE (R Danielson) and CHARLIE MALONE (S Khumalo) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 
a)	Shortly after the start, ELUSIVE JUSTICE (R Danielson) had to be steadied away from the heels of WATCH TOWER (L Mxothwa), which was carried out by PRINCE OF DENMARK (Y Ramzan), which shifted out away from CHARLIE MALONE (S Khumalo) leaving the stalls. In this incident, Jockey R Danielson (ELUSIVE JUSTICE) briefly lost his right-side stirrup iron.
b)	Jockey L Mxothwa reported that WATCH TOWER tired quickly in the latter stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c) 	Jockey R Khathi reported that HALLERBOS did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	In view of the performance of PRINCE OF DENMARK (Y Ramzan), which raced to the front of the field in the early stages and tired quickly from the 300m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	Trainer AC Greeff will be questioned with regard to the apparent improved performance of MEETATTHEWINDSOR (X Ndlovu).
f)	MEETATTHEWINDSOR, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Mtengwana, acting on behalf of Trainer AC Greeff, was advised. (LM)
