THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After racing prominently throughout, PERFORM (P Strydom) tired badly from the 600m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer D Nieuwenhuizen was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of PERFORM on return to stables. b) CRIMSON FOREST (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
