THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RIO'S WINTER (N Klink) was slow into stride. b) WARRIOR'S REST (C Habib) stumbled leaving the stalls. c) RIVARINE (M Khan) stood losing many lengths. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to RIVARINE, this gelding has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 18 February 2022 to 24 February 2022. RIVARINE may not be presented for repassing during this period. Stable Employee Mr Midiyane advised (GT). b) Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with CELESTIAL LOVE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey C Maujean reported that SINGFORAFA coughed post race.
