THE STARTER REPORTED 

A)	WITH OUR BLESSING was nervous in the stalls, slow away and lost 1 length.
B)	UNCLE CHARLIE was slow away and lost 1 length.
C)	CHAUELS CAMELOT was stubborn loading.
D)	PERFECTLY PUTT was slow away and lost 2 lengths.
E)	YOUNG NELSON was nervous in the stalls.
F)	COFFEE BREAK stumbled at the off.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED

A)	Passing the 1300m, A THOUSAND TUNES (C Habib) was steadied to avoid the heels of AL FALAK (X Ndlovu) which was unbalanced and rolled inwards when brushed by FAT CIGER (L Mxothwa) which rolled in suddenly. The Stewards interviewed Jockeys X Ndlovu and C Habib regarding this incident and after having reviewed the patrol film from various angles formed the opinion that there were circumstances to this incident and a charge could not be preferred to the requisite degree. Nonetheless Jockey X Ndlovu was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
B)	CHAUELS CAMELOT (W Kennedy) hung in from the 500m and proved difficult to assist. 
C)	The winner PERFECTLY PUTT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer J A Visser advised (LM).
	Trainer J A Visser will be questioned with regard to this gelding's apparent improved performance.
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES

A)	COFFEE BREAK raced equipped with a compression mask (10:22 - 14/02/2022).
B)	GLOBAL DESIGN raced without blinkers (14:25 - 17/02/2022).
