a)	WATERBERRY LANE (D Schwarz) pulled hard in the early and middle stages.
b)	ROYAL AUSSIE (K Matsunyane) pulled hard in the early stages and thereafter raced wide on the turn until approaching the 600.
c)	Approaching the 1200m SEE IT AGAIN (P Strydom) was steadied briefly when awkwardly placed on the inside of DOUBLE SUPERLATIVE (D Muscutt) and close to the heels of ANFIELDS ROCKET (L Mxothwa).
d) 	After racing prominently, Jockey B Fayd'Herbe (RASCALLION) made his run on the outside of the course and was followed by the field. 
e)	Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with PACAYA and eased this gelding out of the race from the 400m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
f)	DOUBLE SUPERLATIVE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Snaith, acting on behalf of Trainer SJ Snaith, was advised. (WM)
