Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED 

A)	OSCAR WILDE and SNOW REPORT were nervous in the stalls.
B)	SEVEN PATRIOTS was stubborn loading and jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls.
C)	GRAZINGINTHEGRASS was nervous and kicked the back gate in the stalls.
D)	BLINGKING was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED

A)	SNOW REPORT (*K Strydom) over-raced in the early and middle stages and commenced to hang in from the 400m.
B)	From wide draws, BLINGKING (X Ndlovu) and AQUA DELTA (C Maujean) were taken back and directed inwards sharply towards the inside running rail. As a consequence of this, BLINGKING was badly unbalanced when it made heavy contact with the inside running rail. Following this incident, AQUA DELTA, commenced to over-race. When questioned, Jockey X Ndlovu told the Stewards that his intention was to direct BLINGKING inwards from its wide draw, but the colt reacted to AQUADELTA on its outside and shifted inwards more acutely than anticipated.
C)	At the 50m, LEGITIMATE (W Kennedy) was carried inwards by GREENLIGHTTOHEAVEN (W Agrella) which commenced to hang in under pressure and rolled in further away from GLOBAL DRUMMER (*K A Brewer) when itself rolled inwards. 
D)	Jockey S Khathi (GRAZINGINTHEGRASS) appeared before the Board and was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts to the finish line.
E)	The winner GLOBAL DRUMMER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer G D Smith advised (LM).

A)	SNOW REPORT raced without cheek pieces (05:04 - 18/02/2022).
B)	LEGITIMATE raced equipped with a compression mask (10:22 - 14/02/2022).
