a)	CAPPELLINO (C Habib) fly jumped leaving the starting stalls losing 2 lengths.
b)	HUNTERS ARROW (C Zackey) lost 2 lengths.
 
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	At the 800m NOBLE WARRIOR (R A Venniker) ran onto the heels of NANTES FESTIVAL (M Yeni) and was steadied.
b)	Leaving the 300m NANTES FESTIVAL (M Yeni) was eased when racing in close proximity to the heels of NOBLE WARRIOR (R A Venniker) which shifted in. In assessing this incident the board was satisfied that NOBLE WARRIOR (R A Venniker) was clear of NANTES FESTIVAL (M Yeni) when this incident occurred. 
c)	Trainer W Whitehead signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that she failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for the horse DOIN' TIME. Accordingly a penalty of a warning was imposed. 
d)	SWEEPER KEEPER (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W Whitehead advised (DZ).
