Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) 	PRIMROSE PATH (K A Brewer) was stubborn loading and thereafter refused to jump losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised (GT).       

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	PRIMROSE PATH (K A Brewer) proved reluctant to canter to the start. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, she may be suspended.
b)	ANGEL'S WISH (Wes Marwing) hung in from the 400m.
c)	Jockey	P Mxoli, the rider of COURAGEOUS, briefly dropped his left-side rein at the 300m. 
d)	HAVE A PARTY (*M K Katjedi) hung in in the concluding stages.	
e)	Jockey	D De Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss with SILVER HUNT in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
Trainer M F de Kock was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of SILVER HUNT on return to stables. 		
f)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to PRIMROSE PATH, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. 
Suspension dates: 4 February 2024 to  10 February 2024. PRIMROSE PATH may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised.  	
g)	MIGHTY GODDESS (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

h)	OCTOBER FAIR (S Moodley), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee J Nosasa advised (LK).
