THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MAGMA MAGIC (M Thackeray) was restless in the stalls. b) APEX PREDATOR (S Moodley) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MAGMA MAGIC (M Thackeray) stumbled leaving the stalls. Thereafter was baulked for a clear run between the 450m and the 200m. b) Trainer M N Prinsloo signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1., in that he failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for DOWNTOWN DUBAI (D De Gouveia). Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. c) HEAVEN'S WILL (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D S Bosch advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) BOMBER STREAM raced equipped with a compression mask (advised 04.02.2024/06h21). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) DOWNTOWN DUBAI raced with club colours.
